It's time for Czech Nationals

It's time for the Czech national championships this weekend and Tomas has decided to compete.

The Czech national championships will once again be combined with the national championships of Poland and Slovakia - to take place in Ostrava this year.

"This is going to be a step into the second half of the season. I should be in full health for the European and World Championships." He told the Czech press. Tomas has been training without problems during the past month and he hopes his health will prevail. "I pray that my back will endure, so I can continue where I finished last year" Tomas said.

The competition between him and Michal Brezina is not something which really concerns him. "Most important is the interaction with the judges and the Czech Skating Association. I have to show them, that I'm training again and I'm ready and prepared to show high quality programs again. Whether I end up first or second is not decisive for European or World Championships. I want to show that I wasn´t lazy and that I am ready."

Full result details and more information can be found on the official website.

We wish Tomas good luck and hope his back holds on as well!!!!!!!
